“A high key painting on a grey, wet and windy day — which reminds me we still have places on our July workshop (May and October are full). The Madelene (with pool and superb wine and food) is a wonderful base from which to paint, the weather is great (it's the south of France after all), the days long, the colors rich and you'll be serenaded while you work by the cicadas”
