“I always plan to keep posting while running workshops but with Ruth in England playing Mendelssohn’s Midsummer night's dream with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the temperatures in the 90's it all got a little away from me. The Workshops were a great success (places still available for October) but I ended up just a little exhausted. The fountain I first painted in May now has running water and this is one of several paintings I did of this motif. We are hoping to turn la Madelene in to the Alhambra, then we can all learn to paint like Sorolla !”
