“I'm writing this from Essaouira in Morocco. It is now ten years since I started this project and I'm amazed to still be doing it but I needed a little break and, as is the way with these things, a little break turned into a month. Morocco is a great place to recharge, if I'm going to paint oranges and lemons then where better to be than where the things are growing on trees. I hope to get out and paint the sea when the wind calms a little, Meanwhile here's to the next ten years...”
